Sparta Community Education provides a variety of services for the school district and the Sparta Community. Adult high school completion classes, adult basic education classes, GED classes, and ESL classes are offered throughout the year. The district pre-school program is coordinated by the community education department in addition to the Sparta Summer Academy, which offers core academic courses and enrichment courses for K-12 students. Before and after school child care programs, 4 year old Readiness program, Pre-school for 3 and 4 year olds, a child day care program, and a parent as teacher program, are provied. A variety of leisure and enrichment classes for people of all ages, including numerous sports camps for students are also offered.

Summer Academy Programs
For students in middle school who did not meet the academic standards.

This is a summary of the classes that will be offered this summer so that you can better plan your summer activities. Complete details will be sent home with your child after spring break. Transportation will be provided only for students who are normally bussed during the school year
