Student Health & Wellness

SAS Wellness Committee

At Sparta Area Schools, we care about the well-being of our students, staff, and families. That’s why we created the SAS Wellness Committee—a team of educators, parents, and students working together to build a supportive, healthy environment in our school community where everyone can grow and succeed.

The committee focuses on:

  • Mental Wellness: Providing education, resources, and programs to help students, staff, and parents navigate challenges and build emotional resilience.
  • Healthy Habits: Promoting good attendance, student involvement, and practices that boost academic success and emotional well-being.
  • Balanced Technology Use: Helping students and families create healthy boundaries with digital devices, both at school and at home.
